Ginny Hoover maintains an
awesome website for everything you need to know about the 6 Traits of
Writing.
Six Traits
This is a nice 6 Traits
website that is maintained by the Madison Metropolitan School
District. You will find rubrics, writing strategies, and more.
Spel-Lang Tree
Grace Haskins has put
together a well thought out spelling and phonics program for primary
grades. Take a look - it's well worth it.
Six
Traits Posters
Download these posters on
your color printer, laminate them, and hang them in your room. The free
posters offered here are wonderful and better than any you will find in a
teacher's supply store.

Writing Interactive Site. If you are looking for resources to support
writing across the curriculum this is the site to visit.

Educational Laboratories is the place to go to learn about everything 6
Traits. This is where it all began.
Teachers and Writers Collaborative
This site puts authors in the classroom. It's a program that collaborates
between authors and teachers. This is where the heartbeat of school writing
programs began back with Lucy Calkins and Donald Graves. It's worth a look!
