Who We Are:

Effective Teaching Solutions is a small educational publishing and consulting company designed by teachers for teachers. We are currently preparing publications that will support your efforts to meet student's needs. Our publications are based on current research and theory; however, they are written with the average classroom in mind. Our literacy team is available for workshops and in-services on a limited basis at this time. As classroom teachers, we are striving to complete our dream of providing effective teaching solutions for professional educators. Please bookmark our site and visit often. There are new and exciting things in the wind. We are learning the ropes as we build ETS, and have discovered the true meaning of patience.

Our Future Plans:

We are currently in the process of publishing preparations for professional books, classroom resource books, and teacher resource ebooks. Publishing is a time consuming undertaking. We just published our first electronic book, The Teacher's Book of Wisdom: 32 Things Excellent Teachers Understand by Lisa Frase. We are working hard to add more titles to our collection soon. Our goal for 2007 is to add a new Effective Teaching Article to our website each month. We intend to update and add to our free teacher resource pages monthly. In order to support our endeavors, we have opened a Cafe Press Store: Apple Boutique. You will find fun teacher shirts and other items.

Effective Teaching Solutions believes in the extraordinary power of the classroom teacher. We are educational advocates for the teaching profession. We believe that teaching should be a joyous occupation, and it is our mission to help teachers find the joy in a profession that is often misunderstood. Effective Teaching Solutions is working to add value to the work of education professionals, and the lives of the children we teach.

Manuscript Submissions:

***We are currently looking for researched based, classroom tested, teacher friendly resources. We are looking to publish electronic books that are 40-60 pages, and hard copy 100-200 page books.

Thank you for considering Effective Teaching Solutions as a possible publisher for the resource you have developed. We are proud to publish materials that have been written by credentialed professionals and successfully used in the classroom.

When submitting a manuscript proposal, please follow these guidelines:

• A cover letter and professional vita
• A tentative outline or table of contents
• A minimum of 10 – 12 sample pages
• A one page summary describing the intended audience, content, and objectives of your manuscript
• A market analysis detailing similar publications available and how your manuscript is different
• A self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage if you would like your material returned

• We are currently seeking original math tips, tricks, strategies, poems, raps, etc. for a future publication. If you would like to contribute an idea, please email it to Please include your name, address, phone #, email address and the activity.
