Six Traits of Writing

Do you use the Six Traits of Writing to assess your students? The Six Traits Rubrics are based on an analytical scale of one to six with six being the most competent. Do you still find you need to collect grades? These rubrics were designed to accomplish two tasks: analyze a piece of writing for one or more traits and create a reasonable numerical grade.
