Help Keep Our Site Online

About Us |

|
Effective Teaching Solutions began as one teacher's dream to share knowledge and expertise with other teachers online. Over time the website has grown and has become a team effort. The site is still owned and maintained by a fulltime teacher, so at times we dream bigger than time allows. We are slowly adding more content and exciting features to make this site a fantastic resource for teachers.
Our Vision Effective Teaching Solutions believes in the extraordinary power of the classroom teacher. We are educational advocates for the teaching profession. We believe teaching should be a joyous occupation, and it is our mission to help teachers find the joy in a profession that is often misunderstood. Effective Teaching Solutions is working to add value to the work of education professionals, and the lives of the children we teach.
Unveiling Our New Look
In order to
streamline the site and make it easier to maintain, I (the
webmaster) have decided to refresh the look and make some
changes. One of the major changes is a new blog,
My Teaching eVentures.
Instead of uploading articles to the site (which is time
consuming), I will post articles in the blog. The blog will
feed directly into the home page. This keeps everything
archived and consistent. You will see former articles appear
at the top of the blog feed. I am slowing adding the
archived articles in order to make them accessible. I am looking for teacher
writers to contribute articles! If you are interested,
please email me.
In honor of
the new look, I have given the site a new name: Teaching
eVentures. The url is the same for now, but eventually I
will redirect it. Don't worry - you will still be able to
find us! I have a great deal of content I want to put on the
site, but my plans and my time often get into an argument.
Time wins, so instead of trying to put everything on at
once, I will add new content a little at a time. Check my
new
Teaching eVentures Updates blog
to see what is new, or add this site to your feed.
