Book-Pop has online read along stories, audio books and music for children in MP3 format, and color sheets based on the book characters.
Wacky Web Tales are similar to Mad Libs. Children plug in parts of speech and then read their wacky stories! This site is geared for third grade and up.
Listen to a story or watch the story video and interactive learning complete games and activities. Set this site up on a computer in your classroom for a learning station.
Straight from the BBC you students will experience video stories to watch and read. This is another great site for whole class viewing or to set up on a computer reading/watching/listening station.

Read Clifford stories and play games at this interactive book site provided by Scholastic. Read, watch, and listen to the famous Grimms Fairy Tales at this site.

This is an amazing collection of interactive reading books for the world's children. There are hundreds of stories many of which are in different languages. This is the perfect resource for multicultural literature and ESL / ELL students. Here is a fabulous collection of online books for listening, viewing, and reading. The books are divided by age groups. Kid's Space at The Internet Public Library has put together a small collection of interactive books for children. Here is a nice collection of classics that are now in the public domain. This site has made them available for online reading. The book levels range from pre-readers to advance. Magic Keys has a small collection of read only books. You can easily set a book up on the computer for a center rotation. This site has advertisements.

The Kennedy Center has a few interactive books including Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst. This awesome site features popular picture books read aloud by famous actors. It's sponsored by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation. PBS and Between the Lions has sponsored a large list of online reading books. This is a good site for setting up as an interactive reading station. Journey into the imagination reading poems and stories. This site requires Flash Player. Here is a nice collection of read only stories. This site is free of advertisements. Whootie Owls has a great collection of stories including fairy tales and folktales. They also have plays you can print out and read. Here's a great interactive collection of stories by Hans Christian Anderson. Here is a collection of cute read only stories. This is an original collection of illustrated stories. This site features a collection of classic read only stories and high quality illustrations. This site features a collection of folktales in a read only format. You can easily print these stories out and make a class set. Starfall is a fantastic learn to read interactive website. This site is great for emerging readers. This site is really cool! It features three books in English and Spanish. Read online and watch the awesome graphic slideshow, or print off a free ebook in pdf file form. Featured books are Our Very Own Star the Sun, Auroras! Mysterious Lights in the Sky, and Traditions of the Sun.
