Listen to the poetry of Robert Frost read aloud at this wonderful interactive website. A poetry website for kids by poet Ken Nesbitt. This site is dedicated to helping teachers use poetry to teach reading skills and strategies. A great poetry website run by Meadowbrook Press. Lots of fun and funny poetry for kids and grown-ups too! Poetry, music and illustrations by Joe Thompson. This site has it all! If you haven't seen a Poetry Alive performance or attended a Poetry Alive workshop for teachers - you've missed out on a treat. Check it out! Check out poet Nikki Grimes website. She is NCTE's 2006 Excellence in Poetry for Children award winner. A poetry website for primary teachers. You will find an excellent list of songs and poems for teaching various subject matter at this website. Children's poet Sara Holbrook has a wonderful classroom resource book called Practical Poetry. She is a dynamic presenter and poet. This website is an excellent resource on poetry and poets for both elementary and secondary teachers. Kids can create magnetic poems with online kits for free! Great poetry center for classrooms. Secondary teachers need to check this site out. Poetry Slams are a hot new way to get poetry in and out of teens! Who says math isn't poetic?
