Thematic Units are a collection of web based resources, books, poems, songs, lesson ideas, activities, bulletin board ideas, etc. Each collection is designed as a quick resource for the busy teacher needing fresh ideas. Our goal is to bring you thematic units which are "outside of the box".
Take a historic trip down Route 66 with your students. Studying the Mother Road provides opportunities to learn history, historic preservation, states along Route 66, and more. You can integrate this unit through reading and writing.
